I have been tweaking the new theme and will be adding more regular updates to the blog. Speaking of my blog… the recent posts are now in the left column for easy access. That way you can see when updates are posted to the blog more easily.

Most of my time has been spent over at GreenvilleGhost.com as the ghost hunting store and ghost tour keep me fairly busy. New ghost hunting gear will soon be in the ghost hunter store such as “Night vision IR cameras” as well as our brand of “Ghost Hunting Geophones” similar to the ones sold by Ghost Augustine… only ours are WAY better… we had ours made with a remote control!

Back to kicking off the cob webs around here. While this site has been a solid point of contact for my clients to find me… I will admit it was looking a bit dated. So the new theme will allow me to keep things much more up to date and keep the images fresh and new. Greenville, SC, 3/3/09 Trusted Greenville psychic, Jason Profit, warns that during these times of economic uncertainty, scammers and fake psychics try to rip off consumers at home and online.

With the economy on everyone’s minds, it is a well publicized fact that psychics are busier than ever. Along with the legitimate psychics, there are also unscrupulous people who want to scam the public out of as much money as they can.
While consulting with a trustworthy psychic reader can be very rewarding when you are seeking answers and clarity, it can be difficult to know how to spot a fake.  According to Jason, there is an alarming rise of so called “psychics” who are scamming their customers. “Recently one of my regular clients told me that they had visited another local reader to see if she told him the same things I saw for him. This is not unusual. He then went on to ask what I knew about curses. I asked him how much she had told him the curse would cost remove. He told me $500 and that she had asked him how much of a deposit he could put down. I immediately let him in on the fact that he had been scammed.” Says Profit

So how do you spot a fake psychic who is trying to scam you? According to Profit – “If your reader tells you that you or your family has a curse, or you have a ‘blockage’ in your energy that will cost $500 or $1000 to remove… Get up… Call them a scammer and leave while you still have your money. There have been folks scammed out of tens of thousand of dollars in that way.  A legitimate psychic will never try and scam you out of thousands of dollars using the curse routine. Another sign of the quality of your reader is how you feel after your reading. If your reader touches on the important issues and you leave with better understanding and clarity, then your reader is most likely legit. If you are more confused afterwards than when you went in, find a trustworthy reader. I want the public to be aware and safe.”

Anymore using tarot cards, crystal balls and palm readings is not out of the realm of the ordinary for white-collar professionals searching for answers to their pressing business questions.

Increasingly, business people are consulting psychics to help in making employment decisions, handling a pending financial crisis or just to confirm their feelings about changing jobs, say many psychics.

MILFORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE (USA), October 30, 2008 – Curtis Carmichael, paranormal researcher and photographer today announced the official release of a new web site focusing on the famed ‘Blood Cemetery’ located in Hollis, New Hampshire (USA). This cemetery, cited in virtually all haunted places books in print in the New England area is believed to be one of the most haunted and active cemeteries in the region. With gravestones dating back to the 1700s, it is very old.

Officially, the cemetery is named Pine Hill Cemetery although commonly referred to as simply Blood Cemetery – the name attributable to the Blood family burial blot towards the central region of the burial grounds. Many believe the ghost of Abel Blood roams the cemetery and his headstone has been commonly cited and studied by paranormal researchers. Many people have reported the hand pointing up towards the heavens on his grave mysteriously points downward at night.

Numerous paranormal investigations have recorded strange voices (EVPs) and ghostly orbs have shown up in countless photographs. Closed dusk to dawn and heavily patrolled by authorities around Halloween.

The cemetery is located off Nartoff Road in Hollis, NH, not far from Lavoie’s Farm Stand.

The web site, www.BloodCemetery.com is one of the leading online resources for photos and information pertaining to Blood Cemetery. It was created to allow paranormal researchers and those with an interest in unexplained phenomena to remotely view the cemetery’s gravestones.

BloodCemetery.com currently features photographs of gravestones and Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP) clips. Photographs can be viewed in ultra high-resolution to allow visitors to read ancient transcriptions on the gravestones.

This location was known as the Hopewell Tuberculosis Sanatorium. It served as Greenvilles TB sanitorium from the 1930s up to about 1950. After that is was used to house the criminally insane and then it was used as a prison work release site. Locals call it the asylum, old TB hospital, etc.

In 2001 the building was burned badly and demolished. While I did not get to personally investigate the building prior to it’s destruction, I do remember the location from when I was a kid.

This site has been written about in books on South Carolina ghost stories AND a book about Upstate SC ghosts. Even on the internet the stories about this old site remain…

It was said that on the first floor you could hear footsteps that break into a run and screams. It is also reported that on the third floor you could feel like you were being pushed. Also loud clatter and things moving by themselves along with apparitions. It is also said that you could sit at the driveway and see shadow figures roaming the property.

Some people call this location “devils castle”.. even the ghost books. Fact is “devils castle” is a separate location.

There is some mis-information on the net about the address of this old sanitorium. Some say it is on Piney Mountain rd… it is not. After digging around a little bit I wanted to share my findings so that others who wish to research this site can actually find it.

It is now call HERDKLOTZ PARK. Here is my account of the past few days research…

Yesterday my best friends wife showed me the park built on the site of the old sanatorium. While walking around… I was quietly asking if anyone was still there… if so I would come back and do more research.

It was daylight, after we walked around for about 10 minutes we got back to her car and her headlights were on…. they were not on when we left the locked car. So I clearly understood… There is still activity at this site.

This morning I went for my reiki session and my reiki gal was led by her guide to take me back in time to when she used sneak into the old sanatorium.

You know it is now a childrens park right??? AND here is where is gets really weird… they left the original boiler room intact… and possibly the entire basement… both of which were known to be very active areas. Now just sealed up…

They just flattened the old building and built the new playground equipment right on top! The playground is IN the physical space that used to be INSIDE the building.

I recorded our conversation and was quite startled to hear some impressive background chatter and banging in the clips. It was broad daylight and we got very clear lunchroom type chatter and screams. None of which was happening in person… This type of phenomena is known as an EVP.

And I do not mean something you have to strain to hear. You could swear there was all sorts of ruckus around us. So loud at times we would have had to speak louder if it was really there in the present.

They left the original main entry steps intact…. those now lead to the playground. As we stood there we discussed the layout of the original building. On the recording you hear a very clear bell type sound with an echo like in a hall… this sound was NOT in the physical world while we talked. We were standing in what would have been the old lobby.

My recordings outside of the building site sounded less like a cafeteria and were a slightly different nature. Still with banging…

One of greenvilles most haunted old places is still VERY active and is now a place for kids to play! Shall we call it Greenvilles most haunted park?

While my recordings today are more light hearted in nature as far as the nature of the EVPs… I am certain the tone and feel of the recordings will be more sinister once the sun goes down.

Just a few months back, a guy and his friend saw a pool of blood near the horse shoe area. They got freaked out and left the park… A bit later he went back due to curiosity and there was no blood.
This old site was legendary for it’s paranormal activity and it has been converted into a park for families and kids. This lot sat empty for years as commercial and residential developers would not touch it…

My research of this site will continue. Stay tuned for more news from the paranormal!
